Invitation to workshops on AAU interdisciplinary research projects

To help with matchmaking on interdisciplinary research projects, the five vice deans for research are each organizing a workshop for researchers seeking partners from other faculties.

Participants will have the opportunity to present two different types of ideas in a two-minute pitch:

  1. Pitch an idea for an interdisciplinary project where you lack partners outside your own disciplinary environment

  2. Pitch an idea for a project element where you lack the larger project.

You can also participate in the workshops without pitching an idea.

If you want to pitch an idea, you must submit a single slide using the attached template to Lotte Bonderup Bech: The pitch must be a maximum duration of 2 minutes.

The pitches will serve as the basis for subsequent poster sessions where participants who have pitched an idea host a poster. The slide you used for your pitch will be used as a poster. The aim of the poster sessions is to create opportunities for new collaborations across disciplines and faculties.

The workshops will take place at the following times:

All workshops are held in Aalborg; due to the workshop format, it is unfortunately not possible to participate via video conference.

The participants will receive further details about rooms and other practical information after the registration deadline. When registering for a workshop you receive a receipt with a link to a list of all registered participants.
